It’s here!

The day has come folks! The final issue, Bed, has arrived. Inside we visit the village that can’t sleep, interview an astronaut and consider the screen’s capacity to cure insomnia. We meet India’s sleep mafia, talk to sheep and wonder how the duvet became a wardrobe staple. Brilliant contributors include Anne Galloway, Formafantasma, Philippa Snow, Pillow Culture, Manijeh Verghese, Miguel Arjona, Cat Rossi and Oli Stratford. With a dreamy design by creative director and designer Michela Zoppi.

Start counting! The final issue of Dirty Furniture lands on Tuesday 5th December…

After its commission by the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial and a stint at Het Nieuwe Instituut, we’re pleased to announce Dirty Furniture‘s film ‘The Cooking Show’ continues to nourish the soul – this time at Crawford Art Gallery in Cork.

The Phone issue – out now

Dirty Furniture’s Phone issue has launched! Boasting an exciting re-design by Studio Mathias Clottu, the new-look Dirty Furniture combines the joy of a glossy with the practicality of a book. Inside, we propose multiple ways of thinking about the phone – how we use it, and how it uses us. Buy your copy here

Dirty Furniture at Istanbul Design Biennial

Dirty Furniture is thrilled to be part of the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial this year, presenting our first film, The Cooking Show. In our jam-packed video essay we ask why we like watching the making of a meal most of us will never prepare – let alone eat – and take you on a rollercoaster ride through the history of a genre that is at once a staple of television viewing and a hot pot of shifting perspectives and sociocultural values.
